Mental Health Technician – Synaptic Psych

At Synaptic Psych, we believe that every patient deserves compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Our care team, led by Dr. Jonathan Becker and Dr. Michelle Cochran, provides full-service behavioral health treatment to patients across Nashville, East Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, and Memphis. We specialize in treating depression, anxiety, OCD, and more — offering breakthrough, FDA-approved therapies including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and nasal esketamine. There is hope. We can help.

Synaptic Psych is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mental Health Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of advanced treatments such as TMS and Esketamine (Spravato) therapy. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and enjoys working directly with patients in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assist with TMS and esketamine treatments under clinical supervision
  • Record and maintain accurate treatment notes and patient documentation
  • Order and manage medical supplies and medications as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all treatment areas to ensure a safe, sanitary environment
  • Provide excellent patient-facing care, fostering comfort, trust, and support throughout each treatment session
  • Collaborate closely with clinical providers to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human sciences–related field (e.g., psychology, neuroscience, biology, or related discipline) *required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
